They are only about £15.00 nowadays. The cheaper ones are no use in the dark but are very good during the day time.

The man who drives for a driving school close by me has one cam in the front and one out the back. I guess the schools are protecting themselves thinking that they will not be to blame. If anyone hits a learner it will be their fault. It sort of makes sense

Dashboard cameras are really cheap now.
My friend has just bought a good one from ebay and its very clear, even when the video is transferred to the PC.

I got a cheap dashboard video camera from ebay it was £15.00.
I use it often now and within a few days I had a moron who just wouldn't give way and gave all sorts of hand gestures when he put us both in danger.
I gave way in the end when clearly he should have.
When I told him I captured it all on the dash cam and was going to upload it to youtube he changed his attitude and said sorry.
I felt sorry for him and just recorded over it .... I know, I know, big softy
I use it all the time.
